GNU Free Documentation License How can I close an internet page without it causing the rest to close? Q. Lets say I have this internet page open, and I pull up another page OFF of this page. When I go to close the other page, it closes this one down too, searching for a problem then restarting with a fresh new page. And if I try to close down just a lone page, sometimes it won't even close down. How do I fix this? Is it because I have windows vista? Asked by ShadowD - Sun Nov 30 19:29:13 2008 - - 3 Answers - 0 Comments A. Since you're using Vista you probably have IE7. To close a single page in IE7 select the tab that you want to close and click the X on that tab, NOT the X in the upper-right corner of the browser. Or you can RIGHT click the tab that you want to close and select Close. / Answered by We're the Scabs - Thu Dec 4 18:29:30 2008 How do I code page anchors to only show one part of the page at a time? Q. So the rest of the page is hidden until you click the anchor link to that part... Yeah, Im terrible at wording questions ._. What you need here are three elements, HTML (obviously), CSS, and JavaScript. HTML, for the visuals; CSS to hide the contact (temporarily); and JavaScript to handle the onClick/DisplayHide contents. Let's say i wanted to have a link titled "Click to see my favorite word!". And when clicked, the word "Blubber!" would appear underneath. First off, you will want to Code for both, then use CSS to hide one: Click to see my favorite word! Blubber! Now when you load this, you will see the title, but not the word itself. We need to dynamically change the word's style (visibility aspect) using JavaScript: How can I put the same menu on multiple pages, but only code it once? Nest a web page within web page? Q. Every time I edit my website's menu, I have to do it on every page so they all remain the same. Each menu is identical, so I'm sure there is a better way of maintaining this. I'm also interested in doing this for other similarities on each page, like the copyright at the bottom. Asked by LFEfficientAndEffective - Sun Aug 16 01:38:44 2009 - - 2 Answers - 0 Comments A. Make a file called menu.php "; $txt .= " Me nu 1 | Men u 2 | |
" . menu() .
"); ?> Now, you only have to change "menu.php".Answered by just "JR" - Sun Aug 16 03:19:46 2009
